When it Matters Most

If you hunt public lands, you know that to say that big game is pressured can be an understatement. Founder Nick Reichert knows this first hand. From spot and stalk hunting for bear in the scrub oak, to calling elk in the aspens, to chasing rams in at 14k feet, Nick has felt the pressure again and again in close contact archery situations.

After getting everything right: from scouting, to prep, to the stalk, sit, or calling; the most frustrating thing that can happen in hunting is when you blow it at the last second with unnecessary or ill-timed movement. The idea for The Bow Paw archery monopod came 5 years ago after years of blown opportunities led Nick to a commitment to find a better way to limit movement in the moment when it matters most.

Nick, the founder aiming a bow and arrow outdoors near a camper trailer in a forested area with pine trees and patches of snow on the ground, using the bow paw archery monopod.

The Bow Paw archery monopod is designed to give hunters a steadier, more repeatable shot without changing their setup or shooting form. By providing a stable point of contact between the bow and your body or the ground, it reduces fatigue, minimizes unwanted movement, and helps you settle into your shot more naturally—especially during long holds, awkward angles, or high-pressure moments. It installs tool-free, works with most compound bows, and stays out of the way when you don’t need it. The result is more confidence at full draw and a cleaner, more controlled release when it matters most.
